Marcy Propper
President
Marcy Propper founded LinguaKids in 1998 and welcomed the first 33 students
to the Darien location in September, 1999. Soon, she expanded LinguaKids into
Westport, New Canaan, Ridgefield, Trumbull, and Fairfield. Recently, in 2006,
Marcy expanded LinguaKids into Westchester County by acquiring Armelle's
Language Studio in Larchmont, New York, and opening a location in Bedford as
well. Now more than 600 students participate in every session. Marcy graduated
from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Economics and has an M.B.A. from
Columbia University.
Katie Miressi
Program Director
Katie Miressi is a graduate of the University of
Connecticut with a Bachelor's of Science in child development. In addition to
working at LinguaKids, she is also a high school sports coach and is attending
graduate school at Fairfield University working toward a Master’s degree in
educational technology.
